Cormac Garvey is an HPC Software Consultant in the Center for Advanced Modeling and Simulation (CAMS) at the Idaho National Laboratory (INL).
He has experience in:
-Porting, tuning, debugging, optimizing, parallelization of ISV Structural analysis codes (primarily MSC.Nastran, AMLS) and public domain codes,
-Developing, optimizing, parallelization, maintaining and releasing a HPC Mathematical Library,
-Developing Scientific Visualization code (Flow tracer and ribbons).
Cormac joined CAMS in 2010. Prior to joining INL, he worked for NEC Corporation (6 years located in Tokyo/Japan and from 1996 located in Houston, Texas).
He has a BSC joint honors degree in Chemistry and Physics from the University of Ireland (Winner of Callan Award for achieving highest score in final Physics examination.).
