Cody Permann is a HPC Software Engineer in the Center for Advanced Modeling and Simulation at the Idaho National Laboratory.  He is an accomplished computer scientist with experience in multiple application areas including bioinformatics and nuclear fuels simulation.  He has interests in optimization and specialized computing devices.  He is currently contributing to the development of a scalable, high performance modeling and simulation framework and working on completing his Masters degree in Computer Science from the University of Idaho.

Cody has been with CAMS since it's inception in 2005.  Concurrently, he has been working in the High Performance Computing and Special Projects group at the INL.  He has been working for the Idaho National Laboratory since 2000.  He received his B.S. in Computer Science from Idaho State University in 2000.
