Mentor-Protege Program

The INL Mentor-Protege Program is a Department of Energy (DOE) initiative and is designed to assist energy firms in an effort to enhance their capabilities to perform contracts and subcontracts for the laboratory and other DOE facilities. Companies eligible to participate in the program include:

  • Small Disadvantaged Businesses;
  • 8(a)-Certified Small Businesses;
  • Women-Owned Businesses;
  • Veteran-Owned Small Businesses; and 
  • Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses.

The INL Mentor-Protege Program follows the DOE Office of Small Disadvantage Business Utilization (OSDBU) guidelines to determine program eligibility. Visit the DOE Mentor-Protege Program Web site for more information and a current listing of Mentor-Protege Agreements.
