Established Practices and Technologies for Petroleum Exploration and Production on Alaska’s North Slope (Footprint Project)
The focus of this project involves organizing and conducting a series of workshops on practices and technologies applied during exploration and production of petroleum resources on the North Slope of Alaska, and how these practices and technologies have contributed to a reduction in the development “footprint.” The first workshop was conducted on April 25 and 26 in Anchorage, Alaska.
A second workshop is tentatively planned for April 2002. In addition to the workshop proceedings, the
is also constructing a web-based database where individuals can access information on the various practices and technologies discussed at the workshops.
