Access to Germantown Facility
Access to the Germantown Facility is limited. Visitors are responsible for getting access to the building. We offer the following guidance:
Visitors possessing HSPD-12 badge/credential should enter main lobby and present badge to Protective Force Officer. They will go through security checkpoint and sign-in for the day. Cafeteria in/out access also requires sign-in/out unless you have swipe access.
Other Executive Level Departments, such as DoD, DHS, etc., can use credentials to sign-in with Protective Force Officer at main lobby.
All other visitors should go to the Visitor’s Desk in the main lobby, be signed-in by a valid escort DOE badge holder, obtain a Visitor badge, and proceed through security checkpoint. The Visitor’s Desk is often busy and requires extra time.
Questions regarding the update may be directed to the INL Program Office at 208-526-1590 or 208-526-4292.
