RE4: Geophysical Sensing of Reaction Fronts

The objective of the geophysical sensing component of the INL SFA is to develop, enhance and validate geophysical monitoring methodologies to provide timely and well resolved information on the spatiotemporal evolution of subsurface geochemical and hydrological properties at the laboratory scale. There are three elements in the geophysics component: 1) a coupled modeling element in which a reactive transport code and a forward SIP code are coupled to simulate the associated SIP responses as the reaction fronts evolve; 2) a geophysical inversion element to
