Battelle Energy Alliance (BEA) operates the Idaho National Laboratory for the Department of Energy.  This Internship Diversity Program (IDP) targets women, minorities and people with disabilities who are enrolled in school full-time.  Emphasis of this program focuses on students who are majoring in science; math; engineering; and other INL mission related technologies, in an effort to encourage students to complete their education goals.

* Minimum length of the summer internship program is 10 weeks
* Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA required
* Selection is based on academic performance, career goals, and recommendations, funding availability, compatibility of educational interests and approved INL site access
* Standard 40-hour work week based on mentor’s work schedule

Students who meet program eligibility criteria and are interested in applying for an INL Internship position should view the INL Job Posting Guide or Applicant Spotlight Training to help you understand the job application process and to register and log into the INL job posting system.  Once you are registered, visit INL current career openings to explore intern employment opportunities and to apply for positions.

Students must receive INL site access approval before an internship can officially be awarded.

Battelle Energy Alliance is an equal opportunity employer and INL is a drug-free workplace.
