Working in CAES 

 

Request Facility Use

To request access or schedule any of the following simply click on the appropriate link.

1. Unescorted Access to CAES

To obtain access to CAES during off hours and to do so while being unescorted you will need to create a profile and then complete the CAES Facility Orientation.  Click here.

2. Conference Rooms and the Auditorium

Two conference rooms and an auditorium are located in the CAES facility. Please review the CAES Event Planning Checklist document before booking your event. 

  • Snake River conference room is located on the west end of the 2nd floor. It seats 12 and has video conferencing capabilities. 
  • Grand Teton conference room is located on the east end of the 2nd floor. It also seats 12 and has video conferencing capabilities. 
  • The auditorium seats 46 and is located near the northeast corner of the 2nd floor. It also has video conferencing capabilities.

3. CAES Office

Office requests are made through the requestors parent organization.  Contact information for each institutions CAES representative is here.

4. Laboratories

In order to have access to any of the laboratories you will first need to have Unescorted Access to CAES (see above). Once you have Unescorted Access to CAES you can login to the Training Access Management System (TAMS) and complete the Core Lab Training and individual laboratory requirements.  If you want to conduct work in the labs you will also need to follow the Conducting Research in CAES flowchart

5. CAES Microscopy and Chacterization Suite (MaCS)

To gain access to the MaCS or use its equipment please click here.

6. Special Events

To plan a special event (this includes both internal and external events) please complete the CAES Event Planning Checklist.

7. Plan of the Week Calendar

Before planning an event check the Plan of the Week calendar to make sure other events are not already planned.
