Norm Augustine, retired CEA of Lockheed Martin, has had a tremendously impactful career in business and government service where he has been a tireless advocate for the importance of education, science, and technology as a foundation for US global competitiveness.
INL will be hosting Norm Augustine on April 8. He plans to give a talk to INL employees and the CAES community at EIL at 9:30 a.m. on April 8.

2015 In-Situ Recovery of Uranium Research Symposium
In 2009, The Legislature of the State of Wyoming appropriated $1.6 million to the University of Wyoming School of Energy Resources (SER) for activities related to the development of in-situ recovery of uranium (ISRU) in the state. The ISRU research program was created to stimulate research and development in the area of ISRU in Wyoming. This symposium serves as an opportunity for researchers who have received funding from this program to present their research to the public.
The 2015 Energy Policy Research Conference is September 10-11 in Denver, Colorado! The conference will be held at the Westin Denver Downtown. More information regarding registration and hotel accommodations will be coming soon.

The International Advanced Coal Technologies Conferences (IACTC) bring together an international array of leading energy experts from government, industry, academic, and research sectors to discuss and share recent advancements in the development and deployment of low-emissions coal-based power and carbon emission mitigation technologies. The conferences are hosted by the University of Wyoming School of Energy Resources (SER), the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO) and the University of Queensland in conjunction with Shaanxi Provincial Institute of Energy Resources & Chemical Engineering.
